To blog or not to blog
I have only been on WA for just under a week, I am steadily going through the training (my website is formed and formulating the content), navigating and exploring around the WA site to see what the various sections are and the most importantly for me is welcoming and helping new members. I know at this moment as a "newbie" I may not have much advice to give but I like to think I can help or give supporting advice to new members will help me achieve my goals.
Whilst sitting at work during my lunch break, I was thinking most of the success stories I have read online have had some kind journal/blog attached - monitoring their progress. Then the thought came into my head "should I start a blog?"
At first i just dismissed the idea and thought "what is the point?", nobody will read it. Whilst driving home I thought why did I say that and begin to question myself. I read an article once that the brain has a safety function - to protect you from harm/hurt/discomfort. Because where I am at the movement I am surviving, my brain is thinking no need to rock the boat. Continue what you are doing, don't do anything out of the norm. For some people, writing a blog may not be much, but for me its something I have never done before and to be honest scares me. what if no one reads it, or if someone reads it and writes a negative statement etc.
then I thought, lets break that habit, lets go out of my comfort zone and start a blog. Even if I don't get that many views, it can be my personal timeline and one day when I reach the zones of other successful members it can be a journal for someone new starting out.
There you have it, you can say this is my first official blog, I have not decided whether it will be regularly or as and when I can... hope you enjoy Reading :-)

That's exactly what this is all about. Don't worry about other people seeing it. make it for you and your progress. Later as you look back on it you'll be glad you did :)
thanks you, that is what I am hoping to do is look back in a years time to see the progress I have made

Hey Nitesh,
That is a great start. I was in exactly in the same spot when
I got started. You never really know unless you try. There are
many people in this world that have NEVER experienced a lot
of things. This problem exists with many due to their brain
or "inner self" telling them that it would be out of their "comfort
zone". That is where the great transformation takes place. The
normal routine is to do the same thing day after day. I would
hate to think that a person would NOT at least try something
new to see how it feels. I cannot tell you what to do and I would
never try; however, now that YOU have made the decision to
join WA, please write and add your chapter to this NOVEL!
Cheers,
Ken
many thanks for you reply Ken, I think i have settled to well into my comfy zone and due for a shake up
Hey Nitesh,
Thanks for your comments and the like. That is exactly the
stance to take.
Cheers,
Ken
