Pushing This Forward
Hey Folks,
Finished fast walking (not running) the Cap10K here in Austin early today. I have to say, after all the years of avoiding it and saying I could never do it,it felt great to cross the finish line!
Looking back on the days events taught me a few things that I can apply to my new business journey:
1.Commitment. I'm not a morning person whatsoever but I made a promise to a good friend to be there and to do the event in the wee hours of the morning.
2.Drive. Even though it started raining while we were at the Race, I made up my mind to keep going and to follow it through.
3.Cooperation. I walk a bit faster than my other friends in the Race but we worked together to make sure we stayed on course. Also made sure no one was left behind.
Yes we all made it together!
So now today I will go back to my Boot Camp lessons with these same principles ready to make myself into the great success story that I know I can be. I will persevere!
