so upset that I haven't been able to do much work on this for the last week. The great thing is that the content on my site so far has been indexed so I know I am doing the right things. I have a week off work next week so hopefully I can finally finish my core website content plus a couple of blog posts then can switch on the other SSO tool and then I can start working on building traffic. So frustrating to not have the time I want to put into it right now

Hi, despite the extra tips I am still having problems with images! As some people suggested, if I want to add further images after I have published a page, I can do it within wordpress by saving images from the WA image back and then uploading them directly in wordpress. However, when I have done that, they are not then optimised for mobile and I am finding the images are then skewed in mobile view. Is there any way of getting around this? thanks

Hello Again Nina.

This plugin will help you optimize your site for mobile

Try it and see if it makes any difference.

Not sure I am doing it wrong - once you have created a page within the WA content creator, you can only edit it within wordpress - but within wordpress, you can't access the WA image library and image editor - am I missing something here? It means I can't add any further images from the WA image library once I have published the page....

Why not copy and save the images from Site Content and then upload them when you are in your Wordpress?
There are countless sites where you can access images as well so you don't have to be stuck.
I published a blog with a list of such sites and a lot of members use it.

The images from WA site content are from free source such as Pixabay and Pexels. WordPress don't include any free source image to the platform. So, if you want to add some more image in your content, you could go directly to the free source site.

Hi. I logged on today to see that my site is indexed by google..... I thought you had to manually turn on certain setting first before that could happen? I haven't even finished the content on my site yet - not even half way, but I am assuming it means people can already find it in search? if so I need to get a move on and finish the content and write a couple of blog posts!

As soon as your site is indexed then you are 'Live' on the internet even if you have nothing on it.
You could always put a message saying Website Under Construction. I believe there is a plugin for that.

I wouldn't be to concerned, you would only get accidental visitors, if any, at this stage. Just write some awesome content with great keywords and your on your way

Until you are ready you can tick boxes in your Wordpress so that your site doesn't get crawled by the search engines.
You can also tick no follow and no index boxes.

Hi, where/how can I create a decent looking logo for free, and be able to use it for free? I have found sites that will generate a logo for free but then you have to pay a monthly fee to use it which I don’t want to do. Thanks

Thanks, yes you are right, realistically I think it will be another week in between full time working of drafting up site content before I start building the website and 3-4 weeks before I have the website to a good point because I am making sure I am listening to the training and advice and that my content approach for my niche and the value I am adding for people is right. It's a step by step process plus working full time so patience and hard work it is for now. I'm in it for the long run.

Arrrgh so frustrated I won’t have any time to work on this until Friday - however I do have a full day on Friday - so that’s the day I am going to go for it, but my domain and start building my website! I have been drafting up content in the background but I am going to go through the videos again step by step to make sure I set it up right. Excited and nervous as I have no idea whether I can be successful or not, really scared my site won’t rank but if content helps then that’s fine as I can write content for dayz it’s what I do :) fingers crossed

Hello! Welcome to WA Premium. The information available here is never ending!! And the training is Incredible!! Gobble it up!!!

Follow that training! I can not stress this enough. Do not skip around. Do the lessons in the order in which they are. As well as the tasks that follow each of those lessons.

Go at your pace. Slow and steady is my new rule. You'll find you can't wait to learn more in the following days. I did. There were a few lessons that I had to watch twice. If that's what you have to do, do it!

And soon you will have yourself an awesome website. Amazing direction, and the tools that you need to succeed in whatever it is you want to do!

You CAN do this!!

Be awesome!! Be amazing!!! And be successful!!

Thanks, I have been reading and watching all the lessons in order so far, but haven't done all the tasks as I wanted to be clear about my niche and have some content before I go and set up the site. Just finished watching the phase 2 video on key words and have quite a bit of content drafted, so I am now going to go back to the beginning video about setting up the website and go through all the tasks step by step, I hope that approach is right :) thanks

My day starts at 4am in gym by 430am off to work at 5.5am get there at 535am then finish at 1630pm and home by 1710pm, then it’s family time until 1930, after that it’s time to work on WA for a sneaky hour or 2! Sometimes fit in an hour at work, talk about being stretched.
But I’m hoping the sacrifice and effort will pay off! Time will tell.

Hey folks, I need some inspiration. Was anyone still working full time when they started this? If so how did you make the time to work on it? I have been good so far going through the training at night after I put my son to bed and after I had done the house work i need to do. But last night I was so tired I just fell asleep and didn’t progress anything. I am also a single mum so time is tight! But I have so much content in my head that I am so excited to write !!!

Hi Nina. Inspiration? I'll give that a shot.

Not only working full time when I started at WA but still doing the 9-5 job. Altho for me it is the 11-7 AM. Third shift can be a real game changer when talking about jobs. I am lucky in that I can usually squeeze in a hour or so (more when I push my luck) at "work" and usually get another 2/3/4 hours in during my free time. Even when unable to get online, I keep myself on track; thinking of the next post, mentally editing, planning out the next steps to take and so on.

Sometimes I have blocks, that's when I just kind of relax and allow myself to get back to recreation and social activities. Sometimes I use WA as just a learning resource, sometimes a social network but always circle back to the work platform aspect.

Time always seems to be the driving factor but keeping the priorities straight is important. Reliable income, Family, health, and moving toward the future are just some of the balls we juggle daily. There never is enough time.

Not too good at inspiring am I? So try this: After your son falls asleep, stand in the doorway and watch for a few minutes as he sleeps.

Your future, his future is what brought you here and is what will keep you going.

Walking the Path of Peace,
Sanders

Hi Nina. I work long hours, sometimes 6 days a week. My work is physically demanding and I often get home very tired. However, In nearly 3 months I have built 2 web sites and written over 26,000 words. I want this badly. I know it can be difficult when you have children to contend with, especially if you're a single parent. Is there anyone that can help you out at least a few hours a week to look after your kids while you work on your website? Jim

Hi Nina, yes am one of those who is doing this while bolted to my 9-5 job. In the last 2months, I was working from 6 am up to 6pm , that was 12 hours daily at my 9-5 job. After work, I had to come and seat with my laptop for some hours here at WA, working on my site. So I go to sleep late and woke up early.
I never stopped paying my WA premium subscriptions because I don't want anything or anyone to stop me from chasing my dreams. My dream is to quit my job and live an online life.

Am glad nowadays am working 5hours per day and I have lots of time to work on my site.
Don't allow anything to block your dream path, don't quit, quitters are not winners.
Wish you all the best.

Hi Nina, I struggle with that exact thing, and looking at your bio I feel like we have a lot in common in terms of our motivation for being here. Like you said, I find little pockets of time where I can, sometimes at night after I put my son to bed, if I can manage to stay awake (I'm 5 months pregnant too, which doesn't help with energy at night; I really like SWhitley's suggestion on staring at those little ones sleeping for motivation). Yesterday when I dropped my son off at daycare I found myself with an hour before a dental appointment, so instead of going to work I hunkered down at a coffee shop and sent out a post. I've also tried my best to cut out Netflix completely (although the odd Friday night episode still finds its way into my schedule at the end of the week sometimes), as well as social media scrolling. I'm also hoping to schedule a day or two off work where I can fit the vacation time in, solely to work on my website.

I think having patience with yourself and your progress is going to be hard when you're working pretty much two full time jobs (career + mom). You're naturally going to move more slowly than you would if you didn't work or weren't looking after children. But don't forget that you're putting a roof over your head and food in your families bellies, all while pursuing a change in career. Little steps forward day after day will eventually get you to where you want to be. People overestimate what they can do in a year, but underestimate what they can do in 5.

the thing I love about this site is how encouraging and genuine people are. I have just written a content structure for my site and written the first intro section, so I guess I have started!!!! will take the plunge and sign up for premium this weekend I think. now I have started writing I can see things taking shape in my mind. I have picked a topic that gives me an opportunity to help people so if nothing else and even if I don't make a penny I feel like I have done something of use. I am going to write a big chunk of content offline first so I can launch the site pretty well populated from the off. good luck with your efforts and your pregnancy!!! congrats!

Hey everyone I have my niche and have started to write my content for web, videos and articles while continuing the training, but I need that extra push and persuasion to upgrade to premium and go for it.

So please anyone who has their own niche and is successfully selling on it - please let me know and tell me how it happened for you. People have sent me links to other people's posts and people mainly selling WA but I really want to hear from people directly who have their own niche, built it up and are selling via affiliate links on it today.

I can't wait to hear about it I need that last bit of confidence to do it.

I posted them on your articles :) The questions were....did you choose your own niche rather than selling WA and if so, at what point did you add affiliate links to your site, did you have them set up for as soon as your site was launched or did you launch your site first then add affiliate links once your traffic had built up? thanks :)

Hi Nina,

Nice to meet you. I can totally relate to having to pay up for child care. I do it every week and it just stinks! But, it's part of life, which just further motivates to keep at this and make my business successful!

I'm new here myself. Feel free to drop me a line if you need someone to vent/chat/help.

All the best,

Nice to meet you. It's so hard as I am very successful in my corporate career but it takes long hours and basically involves me not seeing much of my son 5 days a week other than putting him to bed. Over the last 6 years I have paid out approximately £50000 in childcare fees so that I can go out to work. I have to change that, hopefully this is the start! Just got to find the right niche, I can write and produce content no problem as basically I have done that for a living for a long time - it's finding something that's going to sell product and is simple enough..... I know lots of posts saying it doesn't really matter what you choose, but I think you have to believe in it to want to get behind it, and have some knowledge to produce decent enough content for people to trust your info...what do you think?

I think it's about narrowing down a market enough so you can gain traction and overtime be able to build an authority website to get traffic. But I hear you, I'm having some trouble finding "my" niche. I'm still making my way through the training. I hope to have a concrete plan here shortly.

I did like the training vid on niche selection as it showed where Jay was able to create a rather simple website with a narrow niche of Football Snack Helmets. I would never have thought of that yet it's really a simple idea. And he's apparently ranked #1 in Google for the keyword. I don't know how many articles you could write about snack helmets, but maybe it's possible to get ranked without creating a bunch of old-school articles.

Nina1979 Premium
yes that's what I am trying to work out, whether you just choose a single product, whatever it may be and promote the hell out of it, but it has to be something specific enough to come up on a search. That idea on the video is genius as you don't need to be an expert to sell it, it just is what it is and probably not many people doing something on it. Trying to think of something like that. .
