Easy Way to Create Favicons

Go to "favicon-generator.org/"
Here you can upload any image from your computer, and it will automatically resize it for you.
Next go to your admin dashboard, click on appearance and on the name of your theme. Next click on Header drop down menu, then Header Options, and you should be able to find the option to upload your new favicon. I don't know if that last part is the same for other themes so forgive me if I'm wrong.
This will change the icon on your browser tab only. If anyone knows how to change it in the address bar, i would like to know ;)

FTP will change it in your address bar. Should be in your http folder. Delete the file called favicon (think the extension is .iso but not 100% sure) and upload the file made from that website. Make sure the file you are uploading is called favicon too ;)

thanks for the info! unfortunately I dont have Header options for my theme... is there another way to do this? Have you found out how to change it in the address bar yet?
