I am in health business since many years and try to sell my services on daily basis at my clinic. Online community is quite different than the offline world but I hope same business rules apply here too.
First, number of potential buyers at this platform is quite large, secondly there is lack of face to face communication so you cannot judge whether they are getting your point or not and last but not the least you will not get a chance to correct yourself until you create a next post.

That is on our websites and also here in the community.
See the little cog just under your title there is a drop-down menu where you can select edit to make changes and then save.
