Small Wins
When I first started at WA, I read something from Kyle that really stuck out to me: Success is cumulative. It is a series of small steps taken everyday that eventually turn into big change and goals accomplished.
This made me really slow down and find the value in each tiny step and to not worry about the overall goal that at first, seemed to loom over my head. I've meditated on this thought every day since and have found a trust that if I do my part every day and value every tiny piece of information I learn and then apply, that the bigger picture will eventually come into view and my hard work will pay off.
I then heard another analogy about starting up an online business: when you plant a seed, you must water it and give it sunshine and the nutrients it needs to grow every day. We can't see the growth happening beneath the soil, but we must trust that our efforts will eventually sprout a new plant and that by due diligence, it is growing the roots for a long living, thriving plant. Starting an online business is like this: sometimes it takes a very long time of watering and feeding our seedling website before we see a budding business.
Most people, when they have a daunting goal, seem to only focus on how much further they have to go instead of how far they've already come.
In today's blog, I want to celebrate the small wins I've experienced over the last few weeks as each one has brought me tremendous happiness and a sense of accomplishment, even though I've just begun the journey.
Nicole's Small Wins
- I got my first subscriber to my website!!!
- My site trust on Google went up to 10% after one month!!
- I got my first two referrals to Wealthy Affiliate!!
- The Honest Company (I love them!) approved me as an affiliate!!
- My site has over 100 comments!!
- One of my articles ranked on Google!
Celebrating each small win keeps the momentum going and keeps the spirit of gratitude and abundance flowing through your life. This helps things happen quicker for you! And it keeps you hopeful and keeps you encouraged to keep going, even though you may not have seen a single penny yet. Great things take time, celebrate each small victory and reward yourself with more hard work and more happiness!

Thanks Sam! I am steadily getting there! I accidentally came across it actually. I typed in one of my keywords and my article popped up! I was shocked! lol it was after I set up my webmaster tools and google analytics. maybe that helped?

Nice to see that you are definitely grateful for how far you have already come here at WA. I can see that you really do appreciate the small things in life, and it is those small things that really do make a difference in life. I feel as if you put a lot of heart and soul into this post, it really touched me when I was reading through it. There is definitely a lot of value in each tiny step. It is awesome to see that you are being prosperous here at WA and that you are really taking a hold of time and not letting time take a hold of you.
