Pinterest Is Just Amazing
Hello everybody
Today just shows how great the training here is at Wealthy Affiliate. Because when I logged into my Pinterest account to check my analytics I was just amazed by the results I got from a few changes I made.
When I first started out I had not fully filled in my profile, nor did I had any descriptions on my boards. I figured I will do that later once I had more content on my website.
So last night I updated all my boards, I picked a board cover, added a description to all of them and made sure they where added to the correct catagory. In my case Animals and Pets.
So I decided to create a few more boards and re-organized everything, added hashtags in descriptions of the pin I made, updated all my descriptions in the pins I made as well.
And last but not least I added a profile description to make it a bit more personal. You must be wondering why on earth did I not did that from the start, well there are moments I am just lazy...
After a couple of hours of adjusting everything I went to bed and I woke up to the results below.
Just wow...14.59k Impressions...in 1 day... amazing.
I cannot wait to see what my pinterest will do in the future when my website will grow.

Thats great to hear Nicole. I am also analysing pinterest at moment to try crack it. One thing i do when choosing a pin design is i go to the search and type in my keyword and once it shows all the related pins i the create a pin that stands out from them all. Im learning as i go :)
Lol I learned that trick the other day too and gonna apply it as well :) my next step in social media training will be tumblr

It's already been a while ago since you posted this but it's great to see such results, good job! I've never used pinterest before but I think it will be useful later on for my blog. After reading this, I'm definitely sure! How much effect does pinterest have nowadays on your site traffic? Has it continued to grow like this?

Pinterest can be a great addition but it really depends on niche. Pinterest is mostly used by females so if your ideal client is more male it might be a bit slow on Pinterest, also keep in mind that you can post over 30 pins per day on Pinterest, without being spammy.
I actually got sidetracked from my project so my social media has been neglected in all fairness. I do still get traffic from Pinterest though just not as much as before.
I am also back on track again with posting and writing articles, so my expectation is that it will regrow fast again
Well, looks like I have to give some attention to my female side in the near future. Another interesting path on this already exciting journey. In my blog I want to focus on travelling and even though I've never used Pinterest before, I know it focuses on beautiful pictures. I definitely plan on collecting a lot of those!
It's pretty cool that you now know from experience how much you can gain by being more active or not, and that you can actually step up your game to get better results. I hope you will get the results you're aiming for quickly.
I would use canva to make amazing Pinterest Posts. You can use them for free. Pictures that are not the correct Pinterest size are pushed back and with canva they will give you the exact correct size :)
Travel will do great on Pinterest
