Hello, everybody! Just a little bit about myself... I have been working in medical reception for several years now. It's not my dream job but, it is enjoyable and, I love the people I work with. My dream was to be a freelance artist. I never majored in art but, I've always loved drawing and painting. I wish I had more time to do it. I find it very therapeutic. It allows me to cope with the most tragic event in my life... the loss of my beautiful son, Drew. I lost him to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer nearly two years ago. He was only 21 years old and, so full of life! He taught me so much about cherishing every moment of your life. To not waste the life you were given. Drew was an avid longboard skateboarder and golfer. He was always out there doing what he loved the most... rain or shine! Even when he wasn't feeling well.. he was out there enjoying life! This is the reason why I am trying to find a way to live like my son did... to find a way to "LiveLikeDrew!" I want to be able to show my other two wonderful children, Lauren 19 and, Brandon 12... that if you work smart and, remain open-minded to venturing outside of a regular 9 to 5 J-O-B then, you can truly enjoy your life and, have more time to also make a difference in the lives of others!
