Who is going to plow the path ahed of you?

The internet marketing world is daunting. Everywhere we turn, there is someone promoting a product and trying to help you achieve some level of success that was previously a void. And rightfully so. The internet is the golden platform for earning passive and residual money while positively impacting the lives of few or many. While developing a product of my own, I knew there would need to be some effective way I could display it to an audience so that the message would have an opportunity to help someone help themselves get what they want.

With the multitude of avenues to receive education and training in hopes of making a buck online, where and who does someone turn to? Nowadays it takes more than a message of making a million dollars in a year. While I know this is possible, for those of us who have to start close to the bottom and work our way up - it is more assuring to hear some realism mixed in with the lofty ideals.

I'm big on research, and probably to a fault of sorts. In 2010 I began to explore internet marketing and purchased a few programs that I could not get myself to participating 100%. There were actually a couple programs that I hardly began at all. Why was this? I attribute it to the lack of engagement and how-to modules that are imparative for newbies. Without a strong start, I believe it becomes easy to fall off of the wagon and make excuses for not getting back on. In other words, it is all about commitment.

I have read reviews and endorsements for Wealthy Affiliate (WA) from people I have come to trust. This speaks volumes, for if it is good enough for them, it should also work for me too, right? Word of mouth advertising remains king, even if it comes by the way of someone who has become a virtual friend. Not that people who engage online are not genuine and true, it is possible that people who have not physically met become trusted friends - it happens on Facebook all the time.

When I experienced the type of positive community that is buzzing on the WA website and saw first had the lessons and multitude of available education and training, I finally realized what my mentors were getting at. After my first two days, I upgraded to premium membership and know as long as I stay committed - this will be the avenue that finally helps me make some success out of my internet marketing aspirations.
