At a standstill.
My primary job is requiring more time out of me during the week. Doctor's visits are still continuing to be at least 3 times a week to ensure my treatments for my sciatica are effective. The sciatica has been brutal this year because of the crazy weather here and from sitting too much all day between the office at work and my office at home. By the time I get home and have some sort of dinner...it's time for bed.
Right now, I only have a few hours on the weekend to do anything with WA and my site. I don't feel I am where I should be in understanding how to work WordPress and understanding and applying the education from the lessons. There are a few lessons I should redo.
The other thing I am running across is, in continuing to do research for my site, I am finding more sites that are promoting the same thing. It's hard to find ways to keep the site original and relevant. Also it's my preference not to promote any type of product if I haven't used it myself.
As you can tell I'm doing a lot of rethinking, and I have some doubts. So I might just take a break, and not make any decisions yet. However I may rethink my niche...and maybe choose something more in my realm of expertise.
Have any of you found yourself here? What did you do?

Yes I do sympathise with you about rethinking your niche, it can be quite a challenge but it will bear fruit in the long-term, I'm pretty sure of that.
I am pleased to hear about your preference not to promote a product that you have little or no experience of…… It's all about integrity, especially when marketing!
Fortunately I think I have discovered my niche but now I need to develop it along lines that will interest others.

Hey Nichole. I'm very sorry to hear about your health issues and that they are holding you down so much right now. My hope for you is that you can let yourself rest and heal - that's your main job for the moment. Don't make any big decisions till you feel better. Things have a way of sorting themselves out. I found myself in the same spot as far as questioning my niche and was told I was not giving myself enough time. I was only newly into my website and rethinking it. There will always be other people out there reviewing the same products as you, don't let that discourage you. If you feel comfortable with what you are reviewing and you believe in it, then don't let it go. That's just my two cents worth.
As far as the sciatica issue, that is horrid! Been there, done that time and again. I am so sorry you are dealing with that. Sitting is the WORST position for sciatica issues, I know you can't avoid that with your job. Can you take frequent breaks to stretch? Has your doctor talked to you about using ice when you're at home to shrink the swollen muscles? That's what my doctor told me to do and it worked wonders. I don't know if that would help you or not, but you may want to think about asking your doctor about that.
