How Do You Refocus?
Yesterday, I managed to get most of my blogs for the week written and scheduled creating a space today to focus on getting my magazine finished and ready for publication on Friday.
Things don't always go as planned.
A quick call from the accountant last night, meant a couple hours in her office this morning.
A call from the commissaria with some paperwork to collect means an afternoon of driving there and back.
With just 2 hours to fit in some writing and some lunch, I find my mind buzzing with all the wrong things making it difficult to concentrate on writing.
Over the years, I have found some ways to switch off and refocus one being to sit on the beach and meditate. Fortunately, I live beachside, so, in 30 seconds I will be on the beach refocusing my mind so I can concentrate on finishing the magazine.
What do you do to refocus your mind and meet work deadlines?

I use a timer system to concentrate on one thing and then move on to another

What type of magazine is this?
It's a small investment magazine - around 20 pages.
It's called Lifestyle Investor - How to Make Money and Spend It.
Part of the magazine is about investments and market news while the other part is about luxury items and holidays.

Focusing for me first takes getting a few things in order before settling back in with all of my attention. If there is something that is askew, I have to address it minimally at least, so I can move forward on my regular tasks.
I love your idea for re-focusing. I, too, am drawn to the water.
