I am looking for some good success stories from/about people who have made it, thanks to Wealthy Affiliate?

I must admit I am a bit lazy not doing all the research myself

These stories are more relevant to me as I was told along the way that Affiliate Marketing was saturated at this point in time. Hoping this wasn't the case. Thanks Neville!

That is exactly what I was thinking all the time. Its a time waster and dream killer.

This is how it went for me.

2002 - Wow this Making money on the Internet thing looks interesting, so many people have jumped on the bandwagon though.
2005 - I must really try this Online Business thing but its probably saturated by now.
2008 - Geez look at those stinking rich people who were newbies in 2002. IF Only, I had started in 2002. Surely there isnt much left of the pie.
2010 - Humm doing this Internet money thing the slow way is going to take too long. I want to catch up what I missed out on so let me google ways to get rich quick.
2011 - Damn those Scammers.IF ONLY I started building in 2002. Even if I started in 2008. The 2008 newbies are driving Porsche's. I would have been well on my way now. IF ONLY.... But its surely saturated now.
2012 - If Only....
2013 - If Only I wasnt such a lazy idiot
2014 - If Only there was a way.

Thanks for asking this question, I want to read success stories too.

It's motivating and validating to read about the success people have had. Thanks for asking the question. Debbie

I started doing this on my own over a year ago. I have two sites that are hosted elsewhere. I had made some money but my pages were not getting noticed. I stumbled upon WA about four or five months ago and did the free training and learned a few things that I had been doing wrong. I officially joined as a premium member last month.

It works. Since joining and learning a bit more I fixed my old sites and have been seeing some increases. I hope I can let my wife quit her day job in another 6-12 months.

It takes time. Websites need to mature and you really need to keep adding content to them. Some sites are going to rank well and some, depending on the niche, can take 8-12 months before they start getting noticed. The hardest part of this is building a website that nobody is seeing.

I have a new site I started with hosting here since I joined premium. three total sites now, and I plan to add two more by the middle of this summer. For some one site may be enough and generate enough. I think the three sites I have now will be enough to allow the wife to quit her day job and work from home. The two added sites will be a safety net.

I don't talk about the money I am making doing this. And I don't talk about my salary from the day job either. But I can tell you affiliate marketing works. It can just be a tough one to ride out while you build up your site and while it matures.

Great! thanks for the information

Read most of these success stories. Most are from 2-3 years old. Aren't there any more recent success stories? These results. Aren't as good as I had hoped. Hardly anyone reveals anything other than following WA training and you'll make money. WOuld like much more info than that as proof the ordinary person can achieve the dream lifestyle!

Good response

I was wondering about this too1 Thanks for asking this ,Neville!

Here you go:

Great!!! Thank you!

I have been looking all over to try and determine which is the better SEO package to implement long term. Out of all the other SEO packages out there, I have whittled it down t

They are equals in SEO if used properly however if you are using one of the other then do not change to the other unless you do not care about ranking fall.

Even if you setup everything properly from on to the other then the rankings will dip for a few months and may nit come back, I use All In One SEO and have no issue ranking.

Makes sense.
Thanks Shane

they complement each other

Hello,

Relying on what I noticed in my blogs there are a few good chooises and it depends on your own choise !

Yoast is a good one and the all-inn SEO provided by wordpress too !

Have a nice day and welcome to WA !

Attila

Here is a well versed training in the archives that puts Yoast front and center!

Thanks for the link Michael.

This is one of my reasons for asking the question; What do you think?

Looks like 6 of one 1/2 dozen of another!

I stick with AIOSEO, Yoast had a problem (that has been corrected) But I got turned off when they had their problem.

Some of my clients use Yoast but I have always found the layout to be tedious.

I'm sticking with AIO.

Im starting to wonder if this isnt a pointless exercise because its a matter of taste and the like of a look and feel.

As I said. I think they are a pretty close match but like one guy swears by one car manufacturer as the best another will argue that the competition is better. :)

I have hosting at HostGator for a long time.

Why should I transfer to Site Rubix?

I find WA hosting a wholly grail for everyhing that is offered with it (Loes made a great list). Before I ran into WA i was researching affordable but quality wordpress hosting. Wanted to go with Digital Ocean and manage it myself through Cloudways - I was so happy to have found that solution but really worried about managing the backend since I have no clue what that would include and surely I could spend the time better elsewhere... When I found WA and read what the hosting includes I was like - woohoooo my search is done and I don't have to worry about it any more. Shurely that at the moment I could definitely go with some super cheap shared hosting,it would cover my needs, but if I project to the future - having the hosting here at WA makes it easy not to ever think about it again. Like "hosting - done!" :)

You can save some monthly hosting fees if you do, so, I would suggest: Yes

Money is a good motivator. :)

No one should be insisting you transfer your site to WA web hosting servers Neville. I have several other sites hosted elsewhere and only a couple new sites hosted here.

Nobody's insisting Triblu. Basically I am trying to weigh up the pros and cons and I have asked the question there so you guys can tell me, because I am bit lazy to do the research myself. :)

After all. Why re do something that's already been done. :)

You won't get very far if you're a "bit lazy to do the research" Neville. However that is entirely up to you.

If you've got a dot com why not just transfer the hosting to WA? Why site rubix?

Isnt it the same thing?

I'm not in the position to answer but what i know is that if you have alreaddy a site it is better to buy a domain at WA for 14/16 dollars and it will be yours with a fuul service and secure !

I did it !

And do not forget the 24/7 coverage of WA !

If you decide to do this make first a backup ant contact WA support for technical details !
