Spreading Yourself too Thin - Use a Daily Task List

If you are new to WA, or even if you have been around for a while... Sooner or later you are going to feel overwhelmed and feel like you just don't have enough time in the day to get everything done that you had planned.

Don't put undue stress on yourself, by spreading yourself to thin, allocate your time to the tasks that are most important to your day.

Here's a suggestion that I use;

1. At the start of the day, make yourself a list of 4 - 6 tasks that you want to accomplish that day.
2. Rank those tasks by priority, the highest priority tasks come first.
3. Break your day down by tasks, assign a "due by time" to each task. This is the time of the day that you expect to have the task completed. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time for each task utilizing the time that you have allocated for your day.
4. Eliminate the lower priority tasks that you don't have time to complete. You can save them for adding them to tomorrow's task list if you like.
5. Begin work on each task in the order that you have them listed.
6. Complete each task by the "due by time" that you assigned for that task.

If you use this "Daily Task Priority Checklist" approach, you can better organize your day and allocate the amount of time to each task based on priority and those tasks which matter most to your day's success!
