I am interested in domaining and branding and I tell you that it is very difficult to sell domain names. It is a real job.

Godaddy auctions, sedo, flippa are good places to sell domains, if they are brandable and sound great.

This is interesting since I didn't realize domains that aren't really being used would go for that much. I wouldn't turn $1K down for a domain that I have no plans to try and monetize.

I would try and sell them if you are not using them. LindaRiel, a fellow member here has some domains she wasn't using and had contests to see who was the most deserving member of the sites. I won a juicing domain from her and since that fits with my personal training, it was a win, win for both of us. But, yeah if you aren't using offer them to someone here or just sell them outright.
