Declined. No.

Affiliate Programs and Networks!!!
Last few days, I try to understand the way how affiliate programs and networks work. I was applying for some programs and networks and adding them to my published post on my website. Some of them have already been mentioned in the posts and thank god they instantly approve my application, but some are rejecting me.
Ok, I understand maybe my site is not super ready but it's on and rolling, if it is not now then when?! I am working on it 24/7 ;) I mean, really trying to edit and re-edit all my posts every time some new idea comes to my mind, to make them more attractive and acceptable. And then in one day, I've got 3 mail like this and similar :
Thank you for applying to XX affiliate program; unfortunately, your application was declined.
This happens for a couple reasons:
- You have a deal / coupon site. We do not accept these sites in our program.
- Your site link was broken.
- I'll need more information about how you're planning to promote, including the URL where your link or banner will be visible.
- Your site doesn't quite fit with our product or is unrelated. If you think this is a mistake, then please reply and let us know.
Thanks!
Need Explanation for Some Phrases
1. Deal/Coupon site? - what does it means
2. More info about how I plan to promote them? I've already filled out the form when I apply to their program, where I write down the way of promotion and strategies in future.
3. Your site link was broken? (c'mon seriously =)
And for the End
How Jim Morrison sings in his song: "This is the end my only friend, the end..."
Wish you all a good day and don't be discouraged because things like this, out there exist millions of them who need us to promote their products.
New day, new luck!
Cheers,
Nela

Sorry to hear about your negative experience. Here’s my suggestion. Spend all your energy to build traffic really high before you’re trying to earn money.
At that point you’ll get no rejection. Those companies will want your business because you will have a large supply of potential customers.
Even if you do get accepted, it will be hard to get people to click your affiliate links until your traffic builds up.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers.
Edwin
No worries, I already find new awesome programs. Just approved from one. How Kyle used to say, keep rolling!
Thank you, Kiersti.

I am sorry other you are going through this. You have a good attitude toward it all. Keep going.
So sorry that has been happening to you. It should def not be so hard to get approved for something that you’re promoting for someone else. You’re their marketing team…focus on what you have and keep building your site. The right programs will get to you,
Thank you Steeph, from now on I am not opening my email box hahahaha just kidding. Wish you a nice day.

Hi - your site has not been found by Google yet, it is not in its search engine. That is probably why you are being turned down because you can't get any traffic yet.
And of course, affiliate programs only want to work with sites that can bring them customers.
This is called indexing and can take a couple of weeks. You will get an email when it happens.
Try not to join too many programs. Remember, they all have a minimum payout limit. You don't want to end up in a situation where you have several euros in lots of different accounts and it takes a long time to reach the payout limit in each one.
Thank you, Diane
