First post for my website

Ok, Wealthy Affiliate community, I can use your guidance here. I'm getting ready to write my first post for my website and I'm not sure which way to go.

My initial thought is to write a post centered around the main theme of my website, with no link to any other site (ultimately I want to refer people back to WA). The idea would be to establish some credibility without asking people to come check out WA.

I'm not sure if this is the best approach, though. Should I stay "generic" as I just laid out, or should I be looking to include my WA affiliate link in this first post? Obviously, I don't want to lose any people that might be interested in learning more, but I'm also concerned about having my first post be, basically, a "come join my WA business" one.

I was thinking that a "Review" post would be next and that's where I would use my affiliate link.

Any thoughts, or insights, would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Neil

A short, accurate and to the point intro would be great, Neil!

The best to you!

Ours was more of just a welcome, Neil!

Appreciate that, Jeffrey. Leaning in the welcome, general overview direction and it's good knowing that successful associates like yourself have gone that way as well!

Yes, indeed, Neil! It seems to be working out okay!

Excellent work.

I would suggest, since it is your first post, to not put any link in the meantime to WA as you are still building your credibility. You were right on that thought.

Maybe write something about if you have experienced on other legit earn money online sites before in general.

Thanks, Lemuel! That was the direction I was thinking of. Really appreciate your insight
