Which Bridges Are Holding You Back?

It is said that the ancient Chinese general Xiang Yu used to order his troops across a river and burn the bridge behind them. This was intended to motivate his soldiers to fight to the end and on many occasions they were able to defeat mightier armies. Do we have some bridges behind us which stop us from being fully motivated and trying hard in our endeavors?Sometimes we are unable to move forward because we are concentrating on fallback positions.

Very true words, Ndorere!

Jeff

If you move forward with confidence, then there is no need to burn bridges.

Great post.

Ndorere, what a great little phrase that is.
Yes, what is holding us back, what should we burn.

I will put my blow torch I feel to any fear holding me back from moving board. As we say bun fiya (burn it up)!
