Affiliate income progress after 8 months ($1728 in July)
Hey guys,
I joined WA this week but have been building my site for some time already and started focusing on affiliate marketing back in December of last year.
I put together monthly finance reports and recently published my report for July, detailing everything I earned and spent here in Bali, Indonesia.
(I'm from Ireland originally, but haven't lived there for many years now.)
As you can see from the attached image, things are going well, affiliate income trending in the right direction. If the expected payments come through this month (August), I should crack $2000 for the first time 🎉
Here's my full finance report for July if you'd like to check it out: [UPDATE: I read the full rules and it seems I shouldn't link to my site here, so I'm removing it. I'm including the full graph below.]
Onwards and upwards! 📈💪

Well done mate, yes upwards.
Writing content is hard and take time, it is possible.
All the best

You've done really well - congrats!! You've really taken your skills and ran with it :)
I hope I am able to duplicate your progress. I've learned so much in the few months I've been aboard the WA ship lol.
Wishing you all the best in the future,
Shannon
Thanks for sharing Niall! I may share this as a motivation and inspiration to my email subscribers.

These results are awesome bro!
Quick question, are you using the amazon associate program to get these kind of earnings or are they from a different affiliate program?
On a side note, it's friken awesome how it's still possible to get these kinda results in 2019 with, essentially a brand new site although, some people always seem to doubt everything due to "over saturation".
Who knows you might even hit $4k a month by the end of the year, which again insane to think about but somehow very realistic.
All the best for the rest of the year!
Very little of my affiliate income comes from Amazon. Probably less than 1%.
I prefer not to focus on Amazon at all. The commissions are very low and I hear from a lot of people that it keeps getting worse.
Also, I should note that my site is not brand new. I've been creating content consistently on my domain since 2009, and had built up a Domain Rating of 60+ pretty much by accident before I started focusing on affiliate marketing.
That gave me a big head start!
Ah fair enough, thanks for the reply
One more note: most of my affiliate earnings this year are coming from content I created this year.
I didn't want to give the impression that I'd been creating content for 10 years and only recently started monetizing it.
My content before 2019 was very scattered. I wrote about everything and anything. It was only last December that I decided to get very focused and create content around one topic that could be monetized with affiliate marketing.
That decision seems to be paying off nicely.
Focus and consistency!
Ah, that makes a lot of sense, I'll keep that in mind whilst create content for my websites.
