Expectation! What is it?
In my opinion an expectation is whatever you are looking forward to or hoping to achieve in whatever phase or aspect of life. In order for you to expect things you have to do something. I have observed some people are expecting the world, yet they are not active and when this doesn't happen they tend to blame the world or whoever is in their path for their inability to achieve. You tend to forget that it is in giving that you receive.
I have very high expectations in life because I put in the work. I do what I must and never seek to short change people. If I can't do it, I will let you know and refer you to someone who I believe can. That way I feel satisfied and accomplished. I believe too that when your expectations are high you will become more motivated, and in the event of failure you have something to fall on. On the contrary if your expectations are low or merely averaged and you should fail there would be hardly anything for you to fall back on.
Some people will argue that if you don't expect anything, you will not be disappointed, but disappointments are guaranteed in life. It is up to you to take the positives from it and move forward. To me every disappointment is for an appointment.
Here at Wealthy Affiliate, I intend to put in the work, therefore my expectations are very high. I know I will not be rewarded financially overnight but once the work is done rewards will be automatic!!! Thanks for reading and stay positive!!!
