I wanted to give a shout out to Karen (memorylaneuk) for her training on setting up Pinterest rich pins, (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/creating-rich-pins-...)
I looked into getting rich pins maybe ... a year ago originally? I was searching and searching and SEARCHING how I could do it WITHOUT the YEOST plugin, (which I don't use).
But all the training available out there seemed to require the YEOST plugin. As a result, I put off really using Pinterest for a long time.
But after I started trying to drive some traffic from Pinterest, (which I talked about here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/natniches/blog/driving-traff...) I decided it was about time I found out how to do the rich pins thing once and for all.
For those of you who don't know - rich pins add some extra info to the bottom of your pins that they generate from the blog post they're taken from.
It just helps your pins stand out a bit more! You can only do this if you have a business account, (which is free and very simple to switch over).
Anyway, I'm so happy I finally got it sorted! Just another task I can cross off my list! :)

Pinterest has been on my list...I know you know "that list", right?!? That list, the one that keeps nagging at you, but you keep finding other items to do instead :)
I've started to move items from "that list" into the "get 'er done" list. And Pinterest is coming up. Very useful links I will be referring to, post is bookmarked :)

Yeh, tell me about! I have "that list," growing all the time but, have finally started to just take action on a bunch of it and it feels really good to try and conquer the things I kept putting off! Good luck getting it done too!
I too found this useful and hopefully I can now get more out of my Pintrest account. Sometimes, I have my doubts about these components and well might as well move with the times than fall behind. Thanks for your post too as it helped me follow along with the other linkage.

No problem! Yes, I have my issues with social media in general - but pinterest is one that I decided to focus on and the only one I've had any real results from! :)
Awesome, Nat! Great to give credit where credit is due. I think I should go back and make sure I am pinning rich pins. I thought I learned this stuff a while back but I'm not 100% sure now.
