I Feel Trapped in My Life
It will happen, eventually.
You will do something you love, and after awhile, you’ll forget why you started.
Whether it’s a relationship, a career, or a calling, you’ll start to feel trapped.
This happens to the best of us.
We lose steam and want to break up with our passions.
We achieve success, and it doesn’t matter.
Why?
Because the reason we started no longer motivates us.
Because happiness is not having what you want, it's wanting what you have.
We check out and want to move on.
We dream of quitting.
What you do next, though, is what forms your character.
It’s what determines the course of your life’s work and what makes a legacy.
It’s the difference between someone who creates something memorable and meaningful — and someone who just gives up.
Everyone experience this.
So do marketers.
At some point in your journey, you find yourself writing for the approval of others, not for pure love of the craft.
You’re no longer satisfied with your passion, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
All these royalty checks, all this blog traffic — you’re stuck.
At these times, you’ll want to give up.
But this is not the end.
It’s only the beginning of another journey.
Once you stopped trying to please people, maybe you found an even larger audience.
You will rediscover your passion and it made all the difference.
This took courage, but it was worth it.
It’s hard to say no, but it’s even harder to spin your wheels.
To waste your creative energy on frivolous things like an endless series of check-ins.
You know what most of this crazy, social media platform maintenance is?
Stalling. Procrastinating the real work you need to do.
Just begin.
Once you learn how to finish, you’ll be able to start again.
Cancel all backup plans, pick a project (it may be a book, blog or whatever) and move forward.
Start it.
If you don’t, all you’re doing is waiting.
The fear of something is always scarier than the thing itself.
But the greatest failure is to never risk at all.
When you fail, you don’t really fail.
You learn.
You draw a lesson from it.
You find new ways to move forward, ways to work around future problems.

Thank you for this inspirational post.
Both happyness and love someone or something is a choice.
I my earlier work I was cleaning toilets more then 100 a week sometimes, you can do this in two different ways. Hating your job, or putting the stereo on 10, singing your job.
You can choose to see the opportunities and you can choose to see the obstacles.
The same is applicable to relationship, it is a choice to love someone, it is not just happening. I hear so often, people say, I don't love him/her anymore. You can choose to see the strengths or you can choose to see the faults.
Nice piece! I just went through something like this for the past few months! Procrastination was hitting me over and over again. You see, I was trying to launch this online shop but didn't know how to get it to have sales. This was before I knew about WA so I didn't know where to turn to find answers.
This is why I decided to put myself on WA. The community here is so great. With people like yourself being so active to keep us motivated,I feel that the odd of success is so much higher.
Thanks for sharing!
