Vitamins and Allergies
I suffered from severe Allergies for a long time. I tried Echinacea for a few weeks. It did help me control my Allergies.
One day, I went to see my friend. She was a Pharmacist at a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Queens, New York. I mentioned that I had been using Echinacea for a few weeks, with positive results. She told me stop using Echinacea. She told me that I could get side effects if I kept on using Echinacea for a long time. She told me that the proper way would be to use it for two weeks, then take a break for two weeks. But that meant that I would be suffering from my Allergies every other two weeks.
She told me that there was another solution. She told me to start taking a combination of Vitamins on a daily basis. These Vitamins would help boost my immune system and, thus, control my Allergies. I took her advice and started taking the Vitamins that she recommended. Was I surprised / Absolutely ! My Allergies were under control.
That was 15 years ago. I am still good and my Allergies under control.
The Vitamins that I used ( and still using) are
- Vitamin C 1000mg
- Vitamin E 400iu
- Zinc 50mg
This is only my personal experience.
Please always consult your Personal Physician BEFORE using Vitamins.

To date no one has ever died from taking too many vitamins ,but thousands of patients have died taking prescription drugs recommended by medical practitioners-fact!
Well done. We do need lots of vitamins that tend to lack in our basic diets. Supplements are the way at times
Before using these vitamins, my Allergies were so bad that it looked like I had a permanent cold the whole year.

Thanks for the reminder. I used to take Vitamin C 1000g on its own and I can definitely agree with you, it works. Need to restart.
