404 errors a real night mare
Being delayed by somethinglike this is so exhausting. I have recently experienced the 404 errors on my site after creating and publishing my content .
I requested for help from the community on how to fix broken links and i did that .. after that 404 errors are no more but when trying to view my site from the browser i am encountering the problem on the fact that i am unable to click the red tab and read more of my content.
I dont know that to and what not no toutch because i am scared of causing more trouble to my site. i desparatelly need help here.

I feel your pain regarding 404s, I went through that too. If you used a plug in to find your 404s in order to correct them, it may your plug in that is causing your new problem. I used a plug in that was recommended by a member here to find all my errors like broken links, but it caused strike throughs on my links, it looked terrible! I was advised to disable the plug in and all the strike throughs disappeared. Maybe disabling your broken link plug in, will correct your problem with the red tab read more issue.
ok, did you use a plug in to find the 404?s. If so, the broken link checkers do not fix your 404s, you have to do that yourself. To fix them, you have to find out why they are broken... like do they go to other websites that have broken links (if so, you will have replace them to URLs that do work), or do your 404 broken links go to affiliate or product links that are broken?
If so, replace them with affiliate or product links that ARE working. I had this happen a number of times, broken links to videos, websites that no longer had that particular page working, affilate links to banners that for whatever reason, were no longer working.... etc.
By some chance, does your red tab work though?
I regularily go through both my websites to check that all the links are working. It's quicker to use a broken link checker sometimes, but I have had those plug ins tell me something is broken when it is clearly not! There are different reasons why a link is broken. It could even be that the code behind lets say a banner you put in, has had its code changed by it's creator (replaced).
