When I Can't Invest the Time

I've blogged as a hobby for a few years now but only recently decided to explore monetizing it.

As my years with RA progress my ability to work in traditional jobs becomes harder.

This April I participated in the Blogger's A to Z Challenge where we write about something that starts with the corresponding letter. I started out great, posted every day and commented on others' blogs.

Then, my monthly infusion, a immunosuppressant that actually works quite well, cut out on me. By this I mean it stopped working before my cycle was up. I struggled with intense fatigue, pain and stiffness. I could barely make it to work, let alone do anything else. I didn't post to the blog, I barely posted to Instagram and I definitely did not paint my nails.

The whole premise of my blog is to give people with chronic illness ideas for keeping their nails beautiful without straining their condition but how can I do so when I struggle with it myself. I am just starting to drive traffic to my blog so I know I have to be consistent with posting, replying, putting my name out there; but how do I do so and increase my traffic and in succession, when I cannot always be on top of it?

Can passion alone make up for time spent? I am not sure.

You are a very brave girl......

Do what you can when you can. Try to keep to a schedule but it isn't always possible.

Craig, thank you so much for the reply!

I have a very flexible schedule which is code for I do what I want when I want but I know I am definitely better of with a very rigid one! Even once a week is better than what I have right now!

There is some research that indicates many autoimmune diseases are related to MAP.

I don't know if this would relate to you but I do know that a friend of mine had serious RA symptoms during a Crohn's outbreak that cleared up on the AMAT treatments.

Thanks, I will!
