More and More Success and a Boost of Confidence

Since starting here at Wealthy Affiliates and applying the tips and tricks learned here I have noticed a lot more activity across my blog and social media accounts. It's hard work and I find I spend hours and hours keeping up with everyone but I know I am laying a foundation for future success.

I mean, right now, I am averaging an extra 10 views per day (which in the grand scheme of things is literally nothing) but for me it means I'm growing "my brand".

Which brings me to my next point. There is this great site called "Bloglovin'". It keeps all the blogs I follow in one space, and shows me which blogs posted recently.

For the first time in a while I went through and purged my account. I unfollowed so many inactive blogs it’s actually amazing. I think it was more than 50 in total! These bloggers have not posted in over one year. Many wrote a farewell post, others just dropped off never to be heard of again.

It is easy to follow blogs on Bloglovin’ and not catch when blogs stop posting (as you only see the new posts) but I didn’t realize that more than half of the ones I follow were no longer active.

What made this even more incredible was these were pretty well-established blogs. They had thousands if not tens of thousands of followers. These bloggers received multiple press samples and wrote many sponsored posts. Of course, life got in the way and either they could not commit to the full-time schedule or just didn’t want to.

Which made me think, even though the world is saturated with blogger/vloggers doing the exact same thing as me…there is no reason I cannot achieve full-time income status. Can you imagine where I can be if I continue to post and remain active in my community? If these bloggers can achieve that kind of success and give up…where will I be if I don’t?

Un-subscribing from these blogs was actually a boost of confidence I was not expecting!
