An Affilate Site - From Start To Finish!

I ran across this website a few years ago, and it has an excellent section that follows someone new as they learn to build their first affiliate website from start to finish.

In addition, there is a start-to-finish build by the website owner that can teach us a lot of useful things. Things always seem clearer to me when it is "spelled out."

The site has also just begun another project involving THREE new people learning to build a site from scratch.

Great stuff! It's as close to someone taking you by the hand and walking you through the process as you will ever get.

It never hurts to follow in the footsteps of someone who is successful at the very thing you are seeking success in.

Thank you for sharing the information. It's awesome when people share details about their success (everything from scratch). And it's even more helpful when the info is current as in real time not just a training published a few years ago.

People who are still trying to figure out how to have a consistent flow of income find it helpful to see things in real time (current). Not simply saying they made $100.

I checked out the Traffic Travis tool you mentioned. Seems pretty cool. I also will check out the Keyword tool you suggested.

Can you recommend other productive tools?

I have a saying that I first learned in the Army. I have used it all of my life. "If you are going through a minefield, follow somebody"! Dave.

I'm looking to buy a keyword tool, what has been other experiences? Looking at Keyword Canine (Jon Leger), Jaaxy or Long Tail Pro.

cheers!

Mark i use Jaaxy. It's simple and effective. I've heard of the other tools and they're good. But I've found Jaaxy to be enough.

Here's a pretty good one that has a LOT of functionality for free. There is a paid version that is $97 a year, but you can do a lot with the free version until you decide if you like it or not.

Could you post the link to it for everyone, Katie? Thanks in advance.

Umm isn't what WA is about and the whole purpose of the site and training? Be very careful of bouncing around from site to site learning this business. The whole reason WA was created was to keep everything in one area so there is no need to bounce around and get misinformation or confused.

This community was designed to provide this stuff so members can ask questions and learn. As someone that use to bounce around to various websites to learn this business, I can tell you from experience it can be overwhelming because you're getting so many different perspective and misinformation. When you're new I think it's better that you stick with one resource and work through that. John, you may be more experienced and it may be fine for you to bounce around to all these different resources. But I think its a detriment to newbies especially since WA pretty provides all this and more in one place.

Hello Eddy. I feel it is EXACTLY what WA is about - learning how to build a succesful affilate site. There is a wealth of info available here without a doubt, but that doesn't mean we can pick up useful info from other locations too.

We shouldn't go forward with blinders on. How can we NOT benefit by seeing someone do exactly what we are trying to do in a step-by-step fashion? What better way to learn?

I certainly value your opinon(s) Eddy, and I do take them to heart.

Thanks!

People that are new to this business get overwhelmed with the vast amount of information presented on the web. The benefit of WA is having step by step training that keeps people focused provide less distraction or information that may just contradict or confuse.

Furthermore this site teaches affiliate marketing already. Your post is like me like me going to a lexus dealer and handing out flyers for Hondas. So there's that element as well. Basically the core is already covered here with videos from successful people that are making money with affiliate marketing. It's the reason we all joined this site.

That's just my two cents because i've noticed a lot of your posts have been veering people away from WA when everything that most newbies need is already here. It just seems to undermine the value of the community and all that is provided here already. Again that's just my take. I don't think your actions are out of malice. But i'm just pointing out where it may cause issues. There are a lot of smart people and existing resources here within WA that can help people that are consistent with what Kyle and Carson teach which works well.

I recognize the fact that everyone here is facing "information overload" and that's why I thought seeing someone actually DO what we are taught her in the lessons can be a BIG help to someone just starting out on the path of affilate marketing.

As they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words," and I totally believe that statement.

When it all boils down to it, at some point everyone has to make use of the information found here, and the sooner they can become successful, the better off they will be. The likelihood of of someone sticking with WA and the premium membership is much greater if they can become successful with the websites they build. The learning NEVER ends.

Your statement makes it seem like Kyle and Carson don't show people actually doing what they're teaching. They do especially in the affiliate bootcamp. Kyle literally walks you through what he does on his blog. So again I don't see the benefit of watching an outsider do it. I guess it's one of those situations we have to agree to disagree.

I wasn't trying to imply that Kyle and Carson don't do the same thing. I was just providing an additonal place to see it done. Nothing wrong with having some additional input in the leanring processes.
