New Mom. New Life

Here I am sitting next to my sleeping 5 month old daughter and I can honestly say there's nothing more beautiful I've experienced in my life. The amazing man-made buildings and the breathtaking natural wonders of this world are nothing in comparison to this life I was part of creating and growing inside my body. As I look at her sleeping all I think about is how I am going to give this little girl a life I only knew existed but did not experience myself. I was very fortunate to have good parents who loved me, but I was not fortunate enough to have some opportunities that other children had. My daughter and my unborn child give me continual motivation to educate myself to not only succeed financially, but also to live a better life and set good examples for them to follow. I look forward to my new journey through motherhood and the new life I'm creating.

Thank you for the comments. It's nice to say what's on my mind sometimes whether anybody cares to hear it or not. However getting some type of acknowledgment can also be nice sometimes.

There is no opportunity in the world that can replace great parents. Whether you come from a humble beginning or a fortunate beginning, at the end of the day it is your parents that you remember and the moments that you shared.

In saying this, there is a better life for YOU if you work for it and this will obviously trickle down into your little girls life. I have a 20 month old and it has given me a whole new appreciation for just about everything in life. It is a beautiful thing!

Hi, Mylife...

I fell asleep early tonight, somewhat exhausted, and woke up at 1:00 AM with a bit of a sweet tooth. It was either search the house for a treat or attempt to take my mind off it by piddling around on my computer. I saw your last note on my profile page, decided to read your profile and get to know you a little. You're my sugar deterrent tonight.

Hello, my name is Richard, AKA Rico. It's nice to read a bit about you and get acquainted. It sounds like we are very different people which means we could be great friends (or possibly kill each other if we were married).

You are so fortunate (and vulnerable as you will see as your life continues to unfold) to have a child. So many great times lay waiting for you. My son recently turned 28 and yet it seems just yesterday he was dragging his cat by the tail across the deck at our house wearing a diaper. Enjoy this season of life and spend as much time as you can with your little girl and your husband as this era will leave you with the speed light. It's true what they say.

For the record, 2 to 7 is my favorite age and I so miss those years. You have so much to look forward to. If I had to describe the early years with my son using a just couple of words, they would be love and funny. Definitely funny. I mean like really, really funny. Remind me to tell you about the time my son decided he would drive the car to see gram and gramps by himself... when he was 5, or the time he tried to cut his puppy's ear off with a pair of scissors, or the time he superglued himself to a pot-bellied pig, or the time... I digress. You have so much fun in front of you! :)

I have no interest in another relationship (I suck at them), but if I did it would be with a younger woman and single mother. Not for reasons you might imagine, rather to experience the joy of hanging out with a kid again... and her puppy. She'd have to have a kid and a puppy to be datable. :)

Advice? Follow the lessons step by step, don't deviate and stay the course... be here at this time next year. Learn, adjust, tweak, rinse, and repeat. Also, it's easy to get sidetracked here, writing blog posts and socializing, which is fine, just don't let it consume you. Remember you are here to learn how to create an income through affiliate marketing, enough so that you can stay home with your precious daughter. That should stay in the forefront of your mind. You are going to want to give up, to quit, several times. Don't. Make this work. That's my advice, so far. Send me your work when you have a website in progress. I'll give you my honest opinion.

Well, my dear it's 2:02 AM (my hands are all messed up so I type slow) and I better try to get some sleep. It's nice to meet you. I hope I will become cyber friends with you and your family. Please stay in touch and let me know how I can help. In my short time here on WA, I've made some great acquaintances all over the world. You will too. It's been fun.

All the best to you. Yackatchulager...

Rico

There is something about having a child that instantly changes your life. I didnt HAVE a child but I am a dad. It didn't hit me until I saw my daughter and everything changed.

I commend you for working on a new site especially with a new one. I just remember being in a fog for the first few months. My daughter was up every 3 hrs as if on que.

I wish you all the success possible. Keep working at this and I truly believe good will come of it.
