We Need To Sleep
I have good reason to believe a lot of folks on here are sleep-deprived. I know that trying to balance family, work, WA and everything else just cuts into one's sleep hours but getting your daily quota of sleep is important.
I recently suffered two serious physical ailments that forced me to take plenty of sleep. One of them was even the result of lack of sleep. Prior to these illnesses, I was making night into day and sleeping for an average of four hours per night/day.
I'm sure we'd all agree though, that sleep is awesome, as adequate sleep does wonders for the human being. Apart from providing rest and rejuvenation when we are tired or at the end of the day, sleep has many other benefits, some even extend beyond our physical being. Let's consider a few:
1. Sleep helps you to concentrate better on the tasks you have to do during your awake hours
2. Sleep helps to improve your mood, as a sleepy person can be quite cranky.
3. A well-rested body and mind is better able to make wise and informed decisions
4. Adequate sleep improves your longevity
5. Adequate sleep strengthens your immune system, which keeps your from getting ill
6. A well-rested body performs better sexually
7. Sleep keeps your memory working well
8. People who get enough sleep are less likely to have vehicular accidents
9. Sleep improves creativity
10. Sleep helps with weight loss
All that said, lack of adequate sleep has many dangers, some of which are highlighted in the image below:
So even in our pursuit of financial gain, I encourage us to endeavour as much as possible to get adequate daily sleep. For us adults, at least seven hours per night is usually recommended.

Thank you so much for that information. The product that I offer on my website deals with reversing diabetes. Until I began to study the disease, I never realized how much we abuse our bodies, in many cases, by not getting enough sleep and adding stress.
You and Arick have helped me greatly in understanding the importance of well-being in preventing disease. Thank you both.
