Can you give examples of the proper way to punctuate (when writing a blog post):

1. artist and song titles

2. character names and television shows and/or movie

Artists names and character names are capitalized just like common names.

Song titles, book titles, movie titles, etc., are usually seen either in quotes or italicized.

Yes, thank you; and which, specifically, should we italicize; and which, should we put in quotes? Movie, book, or song titles?

For example: Sara Smile ~ Hall & Oats (How would you punctuate it?)

Names are just capitalized. Song titles, movie titles, etc., can be italicized or put in quotes, whichever you prefer.

Artist and song titles.
Character names and television shows and movies, and book titles?

WA Affiliate Program

Regarding the WA article editor ~ Can YouTube videos be embedded in our articles?

If so, can we simply paste the YouTube link, to do so?

you are better off adding the yt links once the post is published on your site...
after publishing - click on edit and you wil lbe taken to the post on your site...
click on some of the content and if it comes up with classic or convert to blocks - then click that....it makes it easier to edit...
goto where you want the video and on the little + that appears between paragraphs, click on the + at the top left...
type in video and select the video block...
now goto yt and click on the share on the video ...
copy the link and paste it into the block...
and you are done...
sounds complicated ,but in reality it only takes a few seconds once you are used to it...

Is it absolutely necessary, to have an affiliate disclosure at the beginning of every single blog post of a blog? Is it ever acceptable, to have the disclosure at the end of e

YES, YES, YES! If any of your traffic is from the US, you MUST have an affiliate disclosure at the top of every post which contains an affiliate link. This is non-negotiable. It can't be in the sidebar, in the footer or on another page. You can have more information in any of those locations, but you must have an affiliate disclosure at the top of each post.

Yes, you do need to state that you may earn a commission. The reason is that "affiliate" means different things to different people. The FTC wants to ensure that any reader understands that there is a possible financial link between you and the merchant.

I am on both the Board of Directors and the Compliance Council of the Performance Marketing Association, the organization about performance marketing in the US. We work directly with the FTC on things like this. Failure to comply not only puts you at risk but all the merchants you work with as well.

It should be clearly visible in the primary menu. Disclosure is typically a page.

You also need a shorter disclosure as close as possible to the first affiliate link in a post, either above or below the link.

For Amazon, it has to say "as an Amazon Associate I may earn from qualified purchases" and this has to be directly above your first Amazon link in post.
