Image complements of Google AI Studio
So yes, I just reached 1500 clicks in 28 days. Saleswise it's OK as well. Probably will break $200 as I am at about $175 for the month and it's just a little more than half over.
But what I REALLY wanted to share is this image. If you have a google account (and who doesn't?) You can register for google AI studio for free.
This was an easy image to make. But what really makes this special? You can edit it!
One thing that most LLMs do really badly is allow you to edit an image and keep the characters or objects on there. You can do that with this, and did I mention, it's free?

Thank you very much for this discovery, Michael!
I just tried it. It took me a little while to find where I could select 'Gemini 2.0 Flash Image Experimental' but once I found it, it produced a perfect image - exactly what I was looking for - so I didn't try out the edit facility. Will try it for more complicated images - great discovery! Many thanks. I am very excited about this!
P.S. It did two excellent images for me. Then it told me my request was blocked and I should clear chat. I deleted the images and the chat boxes and started what I thought was a new chat but it still told me to clear my chat. I can't see where I can do this. Do you know?
No I don’t haven’t run into that. Maybe there is a button or something next to each chat bubble? Or try logging out and back in
Thanks Michael. I think I know why my request was blocked. I have a parenting site and was looking for an image of a child painting an Easter egg and I think because of 'safeguarding' the image was blocked. It's happily producing images of baskets with Easter eggs for me now.
Yes I did some research and that's what happened.
I was playing with my parents wedding picture. Showed them walking down the aisle, each had a spare hand. I put a beer in his and a starbucks togo cup in hers. It got flagged. So I went into settings and set the civil settings to low and it went through. I think that's the trick
That's good to know. Thank you. I saw the civil settings but I don't think I actually changed them. Will look into that. Thanks.
