How To Find Real Niche Website Ideas In 60 Seconds Or Less
To celebrate my upgrade to wealthy affiliate premium I thought I'd write up a quick article to celebrate the occasion and help fellow members :-)
Let's face it!
When it comes to niche research and building websites we're constantly faced with 2 business decisions.
Option A: Do I invest more time investigating the niche?
Option B: Do I invest more money creating a website in the niche?
So what I’m going to show you in this quick article ...
Is not only how to save time investigating niche website ideas but also where to find websites that sell for less than $100 (should you decide to buy and scale them up with what you learn here at Wealthy Affiliate).
End goal?
Give you more time to spend with your family and focus on driving traffic to these sites once they are up.
Method Revealed: How To Find Cheap Evergreen Niche Ideas In 60 Seconds
The best sites to invest your time and resources in are:
A) Sites that have sold on a marketplace for less than $100 (Reason: To minimize risk should you decide to acquire them).
B) Sites that are niche based e.g. language based, hobby based (bicycles) etc.
And the best way to find these type of sites is using a site called Flippa.com where people buy and sell websites on a daily basis.
Note:
Even if you don’t want to buy a website Flippa is a great place to see what type of websites are selling so that you can build similar ones if you decide to go down that route.
The reason I use Google is because I find it quicker to find niche based websites (and ideas) on tap.
Let me show you how that’s done now.
Here’s what I type into Google: site:flippa.com + "NICHE"
Example if you were to go for the bicycle niche you’d replace the word NICHE with bicycle like so.
With over 2000 different results you should NEVER have to wonder what type of website to create and/or buy ever again if you’re interested in the biking niche …
Or any other niche for that matter ;-)
Here’s an interesting listing of someone who managed to sell their website for $30 on Flippa (found using the site: method I outlined earlier).
a) Model the idea of the website to make it better and less cluttered.
b) Contact the site seller and ask him if he’d be willing to create a similar website for $50 (Always offer them a bit more for their time).
Word of caution here:
Always do your due diligence with people you buy from and exercise common sense!
Summary:
Now you not only know how to find niches using the special "site:" command but also have ideas on what type of websites you can either build or buy.
Hope this article serves you well and would love to hear your thoughts in the comment box below :-)
