I think in this case he's referring to other people who write content for his website that are not wordpress admins.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any off the top of my head. Any recommendations I could come up with would be from a google search rather than having first hand knowledge of one.

When you say an author, you mean the admin of the website who post the content?
I think in this case he's referring to other people who write content for his website that are not wordpress admins.
