Sheer determination!
My boy woke up early to fill out a form for his school's fund raising thing….
He had to fill out some cards to send to as many people as possible. He said, "I want to win that fountain thing!"
Apparently, he could possibly win a prize…. the more cards he filled out the more chance to win. They were given 2 days to fill out and return them to school. First day, he forgot, so yesterday (second day), he was determined to finish at least ½ of them.
Then he was awake before I was, he actually set the alarm clock to wake up early so he could fill out more cards! Now, that's a determination! (knowing he usually doesn't wake up that early!)
I just wish he put that much effort to finish his homework or his piano practice…. LOL
That also reminded me of myself, too. I know when I set my mind to it, I can accomplish pretty significant stuff. We, adult or children…just gotta do it! yes, yes!

Thanks Andy, yes, I will keep you posted if he wins. He's funny like that. He loves to win but he knows it doesn't happen always…life is like that! right?
