Positive Self-Talk is very important but boasting in public can be a 'Dream Killer' magnet.

Stop telling everyone about what you're GONNA do. Follow the Nike slogan and , "JUST DO IT!"

Talking to yourself, having a positive outlook, pumping yourself up to get through rough times, celebrating your victories, writing and visualizing your goals... these are all things that you can do with YOU and possibly a very very small select few people who may be a part of your journey or team.

When we are excited, it is hard to SHUT UP and keep good stuff to ourselves unless we are just a selfish person at the core (that's another blog).

I have witnessed what happens when I started shouting my dreams to the public

• Some people didn't care
• Some wanted to copy it
• Some responded with, "What is it you are doing NOW?"
• Some wanted to change the subject and make it about THEM
• Many wanted to tell me all the ways that my dream COULDN'T POSSIBLY work
• I ran into the wall of 'Dream Killers Galore', all because I was excited and wanted to share my excitement
• Very few encouraged my progress until they saw me truly progressing
• I witnessed what is meant by "Throwing your Pearls to Swine"

Two things I learned that stuck with me more than anything was this:

• SHUT UP until I DO IT or at least until I get it to the point where I need to have the involvement of the public. This way, if I change my mind, I don't have anyone telling me about my OLD dream.
• When I use my energy telling others, it messes up the MAGIC by dispersing energy out on others instead of on my dream.

So, to recap

SHUT UP... Hold on to your Pearls (dreams)... JUST DO IT... Watch Magic happen!

Silence is TRULY Golden and Magic is Golden with STARS around it!
