Hey there WA Family!

I was just in the kitchen putting supper together while listening to Spotify on my Google Home and one of my favorite songs came on. It's called "Born For Greatness" by Papa Roach.

I listen to it A LOT but for some reason I heard it differently today. The meaning of the lyrics really stuck out and meant way more than I usually noticed.

The lyrics made me think of all of us here at WA. Here are the lyrics;

All of the broken people
All of the people thrown overboard

They always tried to shame us
But they don't speak the language
No we're not nameless, we're not faceless

Now let me explain what was going on in my mind when I heard this so you can get it from my point of view.

-I am a man at war (man/woman)
And I am fighting for
All of the broken people
All of the people thrown overboard

Think of all the people who have tried to do what we're doing here. Now think of all the people who didn't believe in them and caused them to fail because they didn't have the support that we have. (All of the broken people, All of the people thrown overboard)

-They always tried to shame us
But they don't speak the language

People try to discourage us by telling us we'll get nowhere with the online business (maybe not all of us but I'm more than sure some people have been told discouraging words) but those people don't speak OUR language (the "language" of helping each other that the WA community does).

-No we're not nameless, we're not faceless
We were born for greatness

To me this part means we're making a name for ourselves, we're putting our faces out there and we were BORN FOR GREATNESS!

-So if you're running, stop running
One life, one chance, start living
Sing it louder just to let the world know

We were born for greatness

This part is pretty self-explanatory, stop running away from what you want, don't let them put you down and make you feel like you won't succeed. Let the naysayers be naysayers and continue to be a winner because you've got one life, one chance so start living!

Sing it louder, scream it from a mountain top,

WE'RE NOT NAMELESS, WE'RE NOT FACELESS!

WE WERE BORN FOR GREATNESS!

Now that you've got my explanation on the meaning go back and read just the lyrics again. The song itself is amazing and uplifting in my opinion but everyone likes different genres of music.
