Still Going Strong - The End Of Training Level 2!

The What

I'm so proud that with all that is going on in my life I have forced myself to make time for this training program. I love my niche (which is Essential Golf Accessories), I love my website, I love and am very proud of my blog posts, and most of all I love this program with its amazing community of People!

I've joined (and paid a lot of money) for a few other programs trying to start an online business and they just haven't panned out. Now that I have joined Wealthy Affiliates I know now that the main reason they don't work very well is because they don't have the community of people that we have here. They promise you a community of people with answers to all of your questions, but they just end up being Facebook Groups with nothing but people asking questions. Unfortunately you don't get many answers.

The Why

Currently I am a Corrections Officer at a state prison and some time before that I worked with developmentally disabled adult criminals. That reason alone should be enough to want to create my own business, but there's more to the story.

I've been attacked more times than I can count with countless injuries that have added up over the years. I am currently on my 6th month off of work on Long Term Disability because of severe back pain and nerve damage, even having back surgery in March. This can't go on forever, and to be honest, I'm not sure I can ever go back do to lasting injuries.

This opportunity with WA is an amazing one for me because I believe I am a great writer and believe that not only can I succeed and make a living from this, but I feel I would make a great Ambassador some day. I love to teach and I feel like I have a lot to contribute.

The How

I've achieved everything so far by giving up a lot. I'm giving up free time to just lay back and let my back rest and heal (and catch up on some Netflix series), quality time with my 13 year old son, extra time I now have with my wife, time to go and visit with my daughter in her new apartment, and just time to do projects around the house that really need to get done.

I've given up a lot already because I believe in my heart that this program is the life changing experience that I've been seeking out for a long time. I've given up so much already, but am actually trying to find ways to add more time to it because I'm ready to start making a living with this program.

Everyone always tells us to find a job/career that we love so we go to work happy every day and I never believed that it was possible for me. All the jobs I have wanted don't pay very much and I have a beautiful family to support. When I start replacing my income with the help of WA, I will finally be earning a living by doing something I absolutely love doing! I'll be working from home, writing, and helping people get what they need all at the same time.

My Only Struggle/Suggestion

It has been difficult to write blog posts that I feel will generate a profit when I don't know what kind of affiliate programs there are yet. I've made some "Top 5" blogs, but what if I can't find an affiliate program to sell the products I am endorsing?

I trust in Kyle and Cameron and the whole WA process, they obviously know what they are doing. But if I could make one suggestion it would be to add a section in which we learn about the affiliate programs earlier. If the whole plan is to get some blogs written before we add the affiliate programs I can understand that, but I wish there was a little more direction as to what products to endorse so we don't find ourselves in a position where we have to change our endorsements to fit what we can profit from.

Looking Forward To The Near Futute

I am so excited about starting Level 3 and learning about how to start profiting from my hard work. As I said earlier, I love doing this but I would love more if this were to become my full time source of income so I could concentrate more on WA and less on doctors and paperwork.

I am so sick of coordinating my doctor visits with three different departments (my facility's Human Resources Supervisor, The State Of Michigan's Disability Unit, and the Long Term Disability company) who all want different paperwork filled out and sent in so I don't lose my job. I am ready to be my own boss, working for myself when I want and as much/little as I decide to. Fingers crossed, I'll have this goal completed within the next few months.
