Finished Course 1!
I did it. I finally finished course 1. The only downside is I finished it after the 10 day timeline I had set for myself. However, I have learned that progress is still progress and I (we) should be proud of progress we make regardless of when it was completed.
Fighting the Good Fight
I had to fight to get this done. I've mentioned before about my old lifelong habits of starting and quitting multiple endeavors. I told myself that with WA things would be different. Lo and behold I found myself falling back into the same patterns. I put WA on the shelf for a few days, not even logging in. The though of writing content for an About Me page began to churn up familiar thoughts of self-doubt.
Last night I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't believe that I was about to let writing content, about myself of all things, derail me yet again. The reason I have not been successful to this point is because of me, because I stop myself at every turn.
Last night I decided enough was enough. It was 11 pm, I was dog tired and just wanted to go to bed, but I forced myself to log in. From there, I finished lesson 9, got my pages finished and wrapped up Course 1.
Renewed Enthusiasm
I'm more than thrilled at this point to have completed the About Me and Privacy Policy page because the old me would have just quit and forgotten about WA. I have renewed the light I had when I joined WA in the first place and restarted the fire to become a better me and to create a better life for me.
Onto Course 2 and taking my site (and affiliate career) even further!

Awesome Michael, nice work on your progress thus far. Getting the ball rolling when doing something new usually the toughest part because there are so many unknowns.
Moving forward, your comfort level will only continue to increase and your enthusiasm will continue to grow as you see your business come together.
I look forward to seeing your progress as it unfolds. Kudos to you on what you have accomplished thus far!
Great Job Michael! Keep the momentum going in your studies. As a WA graduate and in your continuing studies you will be well ahead of the norm.
