What, you may ask is only available for a limited time?
Only everything!
Let me explain myself. No matter who you are, you only have a limited time on this earth. Almost nobody knows when the time will come when that great equalizer death, will come knocking. I don't want to be morbid here, but it's true.
What's the take away with all this?
Simple.
We've got to make the best of the time we have.
The past is gone. The future isn't here yet. All we have is this moment. And this moment. And so on...
This may sound really obvious to some of you, but when was the last time you took a long, deep breath and really centred yourself in the here and now?
I try to do this as often as I remember. How often is that? Not as often as I'd like.
What would you do if this were your last day? What are you doing now? What's different? Why?
I'm not talking about abandoning to doing things without thought of consequence. Quite the opposite. If this is your last day, this is your last chance to make your mark. To leave the world a better place because of you. To be kind to people you may never meet again. To be kind to the body with which you have taken this journey.
Being mindful of the consequence of every thought, word and deed.
Be here.
Be in the now.
And be at peace.

If this were my last day Michael I would go to a field or a beach and have a nice long walk with the Mrs and the dogs.
If this was my last day I would want to take my soul mate to where ever her favorite place that she has always dreamed of going and go there any where on the planet all the best Max
Great post and all I would want to do is put my arms around my wife and hold her till the last second
When this was my last day, and you never know if it is, I would jump into the car, drive to my oldest daughter (200km) to hold her in my arms and tell her in person how glad I am with my grandchild she is carrying. but I do hope on more days though because there are too much "have to do's" in the way right this moment.
I have wondered about that last day. I think I would head to the beach with my wife and Sweetea, the Yorki. We could just look at forever and Sweetea and I could bark at the ships as they pass.
