My Progress
To start with I feel pretty lucky that I came across Wealthy Affiliate before I had spent and wasted money on any number of different programs you see advertised on social media these days.
I did initially see one of those adverts of someone laying on a beach with a caption saying "Do you want to live like this". After reading what it was about i was slightly dubious, so I tried to find out about it in google which is how I found it out to be a scam, but also more importantly (to me anyway) the page that was telling me it was a scam was also promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
No harm in looking into this I thought, especially as it is free to sign up to also (unlike all these other scam sites).
Well, I signed up and starting reading stuff on the site and learning about Wealthy Affiliate and it didn't take long to realise that this place and community is the real deal.
It was only a few weeks after signing up that I decided to go premium as in my opinion and with all the benefits of being a premium member it's definitely worth it.
The end of last year was a little slow going, due to work and also as i'm a single parent with an 8 year old son living with me. But anyway I got some bits done.
Since the new year though I have managed to progress more. I now have my first website with quite a few posts on. I have also bought another 8 domain names. I hope to build websites for a least some of them in the future.
I am very much enjoying going through the training and learning everything to do with setting up, maintaining and running a successful website or websites.
Being a gardener, the niche I choose is gardening tools as it's something I know about and I am passionate about. There's nothing like buying and trying new tools out.
So far, so good with my content. A lot of the time i'm finding I can easily write over 1000 words. I just hope it makes good reading for people who visit my site in the future and hopefully they'll become regular visitors and use my site and links to purchase their gardening tools.
All in all i'm very happy to be a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community and I am certain now i'm here that I will keep at it, never give up and achieve some level of success with it.

Here's a thread that Kyle provided to receive site comments: Need website comments? the give and take comment thread Granted, the comments are coming from this platform, but Google looks that you have engagement, so that's better than to have posts without any comments.

Comments from this platform will be great for now and I'll be working to get visitors from outside this platform to leave comments in the future.
I'm enjoying the ride thus far and will keep my motivation to carry on until I achieve what I want and beyond that.
