Having lots of fun thus far!
Hey everyone,
Just wanted keep motivated and share my progress with Wealthy Affiliate thus far!
I can't believe this, but within 2 weeks, I have a functioning website with >10 pages and posts up and running. I chose to go with the diet and exercise niche because it is what I am absolutely passionate about! By writing about my experience with sustaining my weight loss and diet habits, I ended up learning more about this topic as well. Writing the blog posts have been really fun so far and with all the research done, there is no limit to how much I could learn!
As someone that is pretty near to being clueless about building websites, to having my own webpage up and running is a pretty awesome feeling. I hope to continue building my website to a point where it has sufficient content to be shared with family and friends (by May 2017), and hopefully through my sharing, I could help others sustain their weight loss as well! And hopefully in 6 months, with sufficient people browsing and reading through it, I could start monetizing my interest as well!

Good job Merrell, I know exactly how you feel, I have a little experience in designing a website through the classes that I took at PCC (Portland Community College), however, I never got the point where I felt comfortable enough to start to build one. Since I joined WA about a month ago, I too have a site up and running and getting traffic. It feels awesome!! Keep up the good work and remember to ask lots of questions and keep up your pace. Congratulations my friend. I will check out your site and leave a comment there too.

Its good you went with your passion, because you sound like an expert on the topic. I'm not necessarily passionate about my niche, which is business programs, but I am with business in general, so I guess it works out.
