Doing a test for a post

So I decided to do this detox/diet partially cause I wanted to try it myself but also because I though it would be interesting to write a post about.

It's an interesting experience, mostly because I find that it motivates me to stick to the diet more. It's like I'm doing it for my post and an audience and not just for me, and I want to give them legitimate information, so I won't cheat or go off plan because it would ruin the results. I like it, at the same time as it's weird because I've only ever tried to do diets with a support buddy, and usually if I quit nothing is lost on their part, you know? But if cheating is going to ruin the test for someone else, it gives you a lot more motivation than "oh, my friend is watching me and if I screw up they will be disappointed". I don't think that ever really had a great effect on me, I've never particularly cared enough about it.

It's interesting to find out that having a website and trying to be the best authority in your niche really has an impact on how well your research and test and review things. It's knowing that there are other people counting on the information you are giving, not just you.

So those are my notes of the day; I like the motivation of people counting on my information.

Great that you accually are testing the product to be able to write a post about it. And great that it motivates you not to cheat. Let us know when your post is done. Love to read it!

I agree with you that I feel in order to give accurate info you need to use/try/do it yourself. There's a lesson from Nathaniell that you should check out about doing Reviews if you don't own it. Writing Product Reviews of Stuff You Don't Own. I thought there was great insight into this part of A/M. Best of luck!

Success, Megan!

Great way to look at reviews! If, along the way it motivates you, then you are ahead of the game!
