Here is my first golf article:

I'd appreciate any opinions re: font size, paragraphing, ease of reading, etc.

Great job! I will be using your tips this Spring! Thank you.

Hello John,

I enjoyed your article... picked up some valuable tips since I am not much of a golfer. I thought the layout was pleasing with good break points. Good job.

Jeff

Hi John,
Congrats on your first article. Looking forward to the others.

Hi John, just had a browse through your site and its a good start, it was easy to read, but now i have gone back in to have another look , your menus dont go anywhere, for example I click on Pitching and it takes me to a picture of a Golfer and thats it, I think you should have another look at your setup, to make sure your links go to where you want them. But keep persevering, and you could have a nice site there when you get it right. If you would like to have a look at my site which is also about golf please feel free, a2zofgolf.com. Good luck and keep going.

Hi Gdodd:

Thanks for taking a look at my golf site. You're right, I have only written that one "How To Practice Pitching" article. The other articles have not been written yet.

Do you have any ideas on picture size? I try to make my pictures large enough to see, but I've heard that some of them look low res.

Hi Gdodd:

Nice looking site and easy on the eyes. I never expected a blue color scheme, but then probably every golf site has green in it. My first set of clubs had 1,2,3,4 woods and 2 through 9 irons. The woods were real woods, with four screw faceplates. Have you ever tried to hit a 1 iron? Most people think it is difficult, but I don't remember having too much trouble with my 2 iron!

Your site is very interesting and has only one piece of advertising on the right that doesn't interfere with perusal of your site. I definitely haven't seen a site like yours.

By the way, someone else told me my pictures looked low res. I notice yours are much smaller. I only know how to put one picture above my text. Is there a tutorial letter on how to intersperse your pictures throughout the text?

I thought the information was very good and had great tips for a beginner golfer like me. The only things that saw was the image looked low quality and there was no place to leave a comment on the bottom of the page. Fix those 2 thing and it will be great!

Hi MGroesbeck:

Whoops, I thought comments were automatically added to both posts and articles. Do I have that wrong?

Unfortunately, you are probably right about the pictures. I go into some photo program to make the pictures bigger. This sometimes makes things grainy. Do you have any suggestions for an ideal size? Most of my pictures are about 700 x 568 or something like that. Most of them started out at something like 200 x 100.

The add comment box usually is automatically there. It might need to be changed in you settings. As for the pictures, I don't know if this will help you but I use Adobe Photoshop to resize them so they are not grainy. I think the size of you pic was fine for the article.

Very nice, easy reading, your content gives loads of information about golfing. Good job on the research that it took to provide so much information. Even if you're an avid golfer you may not be aware of some of the things you point out in your blog.
