My First Long Article
Hello fellow WA members!
As I said in my previous post, I published a long article to see if long articles could perform better in search engines than shorter ones. It is not as long as I wanted (1600+ words, though I wanted to reach 2000 words) and my main keyword is not very well chosen I think (low competition but very low traffic), but it's finally published and you can read it here: http://adventures-in-im-land.com/how-to-have-more-...

I, too, have written some pretty long posts, somtimes over 1500+ words. Sometimes I have so much info to offer that I poat it in two or three parts simply because "an all in one" post would be well over 6000 words. I think I would lose some readers if I did that so, I break it down into parts for them to chew on.

That's helpful. I usually have trouble getting my blog posts up to 500 words. It all depends on what's going on, if its an eventful day then I can have lots to say.
Nicely done. Very helpful, valuable information content, and bar setting goals for my own projects. Thank you for the inspiration on how to do it right.
I sometimes write a 1500 word post. Majority of the time, I'll try to write at least a 1000 word post.
