Coffe with Linda: Ladies, Battling Self-Doubt While Facing Health Struggles
You know that feeling when doubt creeps in?
🔸 “Am I strong enough for this?”
🔸 “What if I can’t handle it?”
🔸 “How can I keep going when my body is betraying me?”
If you’ve ever struggled with a health condition—whether it’s something chronic or a recent diagnosis—you know this battle all too well.
Self-doubt doesn’t just show up in business or life goals; it can show up in every part of our journey. And when you’re fighting an invisible health battle at the same time, it can feel like an overwhelming weight.
But here’s the truth I need you to hear today:
Your struggle does not define your strength.
How does health impact self-doubt?
When your body isn’t cooperating, or you're dealing with physical limitations, it’s easy to feel like you’ve lost control.
Self-doubt whispers:
- “You’re too weak for this.”
- “This dream is too big for you right now.”
- “You should just give up and rest.”
But here's the reality: You are allowed to dream big, even when you’re in the fight of your life.
Being vulnerable, being human, and asking for help are all parts of the strength you’re building. And those moments of self-doubt? They don’t mean you can’t do this. It means you’re stretching beyond what you thought was possible.
Here’s what helps me stay grounded:
💡 Start where you are. You may not be able to do everything all at once, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make progress. Take it one small step at a time. Every little bit counts.
💡 Build your community. You don’t have to go through this alone. Reach out to others who get it—whether that’s here on WA, through other health communities, or friends who understand. We rise together.
💡 Honor your limits. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Building your dream doesn’t mean burning yourself out—it means finding balance between effort and rest.
💡 Celebrate every victory. Whether it's sending an email, publishing a blog post, or simply showing up for yourself today—those wins matter. They’re proof you’re still fighting, still moving forward.
💡 Keep your vision alive. Your health condition doesn’t steal your dreams. It’s part of the story, but not the end of it. Keep reminding yourself why you started this journey.
So, to everyone who’s facing a health challenge while building her business, her dream, or her life:
You are allowed to struggle.
You are allowed to rest.
But you are never, ever alone.
And you are stronger than you know.
So when self-doubt comes knocking, stand up, look it in the face, and say:
“Not today. I’m here to show up for myself and my dreams.”
We’re in this together, and we rise stronger every day. 💪✨

I live in Sydney and found this portal after discussing quick ways to entertain myself with a friend over lunch. Then I checked it out myself. What impressed me most was how easy it was to use, without any unnecessary instructions or prompts. While I was organizing my files and listening to podcasts, the website https://levelupcasino.com/ worked perfectly in the adjacent window. I had a great little session and was pleasantly surprised by how simple everything was.
Evening Linda, How are you feeling this evening? Is all well?
How do you push through self-doubt when you’re juggling health struggles?
I looked at your post I mean really looked at your post, You're right the real question is the self doubt, the intangible, the real health struggle.
You see when your mind is at peace you can focus on the physical health struggles, when you are not at peace, it's extremely difficult to put together a strategy to deal with any of your issues, not just the health one.
There's an old saying ' A house divided against itself, must fall' Your peace is what keeps the house strong.
Just saying ^_^ Get well soon! Cheers
Health issues affect many of us. We can only do what we can do or run the risk of worsening our conditions. I choose to disregard the self-doubt because I enjoy thinking that I just might make a breakthrough with my next burst of time and energy. I believe you will too!

Your goals to help you through when health struggles seem to be overewelming are a great list of how to get through those times. You don't have to be perfect to succeed. You just have to keep on keeping on.
Sometimes the time-lines are the victums, but just adjust and move forward.
We are stronger than we think we are.
Thanks for sharing,
Sami

Some days my body says “no,” my brain says “panic,” and my coffee says “try again.”
This hit home in the best way.
Thank you for normalizing rest, vulnerability, and still dreaming big, even on hard days.
