I'm not sure what exactly our trying to achieve?! Will these separate sites be for separate dealerships all feeding into one "head office" dealership?! Rich.
Yes all five sites are for one dealership....they are looking for more traffic from different keywords. For an example one site I made is "used luxury cars for sale"....another is... "car finance for bad credit in Florida"...get it now?? So my question is all five different sites I'm making is ultimately linking back to the main website they already have. When people visit these sites they are ultimately gonna be redirected back to the dealerships main site.
I wouldn't recommend this. The use of self-owned interlinked or reciprocal linking feeder or doorway sites have long been considered a spam signal by Google under their Webmaster Content Violations http://d.pr/7diI :) Rich.
I would write all that content on the dealership site keep all the traffic going to the one domain and help it grow. Then point to the dealership main sales pages. Doesn't benefit you much creating multiple sites that all need to get ranked. More prudent to be in one place.
Ya but Rich, each of the five sites are gonna be on different wordpress paltforms. All five sites are gonna have a different look, but the only content that is gonna be the same on all five are the "about Us"...."finance"......"privacy policy"....."warranty".....each site is gonna have different content geared to the keywords I'm useing for that site. I'm not throwing up five websites that look the same...I know that's a big no,no for google.
It's not a question of identical websites, if you watch that official Google video from last year you'll see that doorway sites, ie. sites that feed to another site are the issue. However, you're free to do whatever you wish of course, however I just wanted to let you know that ranking-wise, it isn't risk free. :) Rich.
