Baby Steps but progress nonetheless!
This is where I am now. It feels like I'm moving at crawling pace with my website and need my comfort buddy (which is the help community) right beside me all the time! I'm slowly but surely moving up the steps to the landing though, often sliding back a step or two if things aren't going right on my site; but after my tantrum, drying my eyes, pulling myself together and going on again.
My website is finally up and running without any glitches (that I'm aware of!), it's indexed and crawled by Google and although I have no idea where my page is ranked at on Google yet, my main focus now is to add, add, add and add more content.
I still find myself often doubting the niche I've chosen (coffee), as it's not necessarily my greatest passion I would've liked to write about but then I remember why I chose it: it's focused; it's to be my training site; I still do what I love (research, learning new things and sharing knowledge) and this is the niche I keep coming back to when reconsidering niches. Now that I've purchased my own domain I'm even more focused to stick to it for the next year (nothing as motivating as committment I say!)
I'd like to say thanks to each and everyone who has been so willing and eager to patiently help me with my questions and hope to return the favors likewise as I get more knowledgable and established.
Over the next 3 months I plan to add loads of content to boost my traffic and ranking on Google, adding Affiliate links and within the next 6 months to start seeing some income from my page.
Hats off to those who are receiving a good income this way as I see that building, maintaining and establishing an income-generating website is no small undertaking.
See ya around!
Michelle

Congratulations on getting your site up and running. All steps add up no matter how small or large they are. Good Luck!
Congratulations and it looks like the issues from yesterday are no longer issues at all, which is fantastic. Baby steps add up so keep making them and don't be afraid to ask the wonderful people here for advice if something goes wrong.
