Every time I log in to WA, it doesn't matter what time of the day, there is always someone in the chat asking the exact same questions.
Do you need to upgrade before continuing the training? Why?
I was planning on making money before upgrading, How can I do this?
Can't I just recruit for WA and pay my membership that way?
I am in x financial situation, I cannot afford to upgrade...
It's getting daunting to answer the same questions over and over if I am being honest. It's a buzz kill at best and makes my avoidance issues flair up at its worst. The reality is that if you are not ready to make a financial investment in your business, you're not ready to start a business.
WA is not a business, its a learning platform that gives you a method and training on that method to build an affiliate marketing business. You need to be ready to invest in things like trainings, websites, domain names, tools, tech etc. Before starting a business. If you're not ready financially or otherwise to invest, then its not right for you right now.
This method takes time, you're not waiting a couple weeks for a paycheck. You may be looking at six or more months without a check at all. In fact, there are no promises that you will get a check at all. It is a lot of work, a lot of research, a lot of writing and a lot of waiting.
I do not mean to come off as mean spirited, that is not at all my intention. I just hope before you ask these questions in the chat that you think long and hard about your own situation. If you're not financially stable, this probably isn't the right thing for you right now. There is no reason why you cannot come back at a later time when you are ready to roll!

Sadly a lot of those folks get sucked into the "Make a million dollars in your first week with our online program" schemes. They find a way to pay a fortune in exchange for promises of easy riches with little work.
You can only help people so much! They have to take some responsibility on themselves or it won't mean anything to them and they'll turn to something else with less work.

Thank you for your blog post, I know where you're coming from!
I always recommend that people get a job before they start an online business. There are very few people who can start an online business with zero money coming in. Unless they have plenty of savings!
Many, if not all, of the successful people on Wealthy Affiliate, had a full-time or part-time job before they became successful. Building an online business takes time and effort; you can't make money overnight in normal terms, especially when you're starting out.
