My quest for a niche!

So I'm confounded in trying to find my niche! I have a bunch of mini-passions I guess, but nothing stands out.
My darling youngest son (!) hearing me mulling this over wanted to help. I said
"when I look over my life there is nothing consistently standing out as a theme..."
His answer?
"Yeah there is!!!!"
"Huh? What?" I asked.
"Being poor!" he announced, rather triumphantly I thought - typical of his 18-year-old attitude of showing me where I'm going wrong ... every minute or so!
Needless to say - I have not found this terribly helpful :)

A niche can honestly be anything, what are you passionate about? What are you interested in?
You definitely don't have to be an expert in a niche, before you enter a niche. You become and expert with time and as you work with people , help people, and build our your authority/brand in that given space.
So don't get trapped into the "I need to be an expert already" logic.
When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:
I want to help people that ______________.
Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

I plumped for creativity - but am still mulling over the idea.
I like your tip! I'm always thinking of things I might do to help people (usually because I could do with my 'solution' myself!)
I will consider that for the second site...
Actually I'm wondering about the 2 sites we get. Is the general idea to have one site for a niche I choose, and the other promoting WA?
