How do you make sure to do this?
Typically, I ask them to include my keyword in the introduction and conclusion. Also I ask for a minimum of 5 paragraphs and I always research the keyword in Jaaxy beforehand.
Moreover, if I am asking for a top 5 of a certain product, I give them the product links.
So it is a matter of giving them instructions about what you need.

Hi - so can we assume you are purchasing 8 articles for $200? That is $25 for 1000 words? That is extremely cheap; what level of return are you seeing?
Are these posts ranking on page 1? Are the product reviews converting to sales? Are you checking that the content is not copied and pasted from other websites, as often happens with cheap writers?
Typically, a good, professional writer whose work requires no editing would cost $50 per 1000 words. And a top-quality writer who fully understands SEO, keywords, sales conversion, and how to rank would cost $80 per 1000 words.
