The internet has its inception since 1969. Begun as a series of isolated networks it transformed university research. Each network operated according to different coding and programming rules.

Also military needs in the 1960's required the need for enhanced universal communication. The Defense Research Acquisition Projects Agency (DARPA) used the network as military intelligence initiatives.

By 1989 public priorities came to the fore. In 1989 Tim Berners-Lee a British programmer for the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) laid out a proposal that would transform communication. He conceptualized a centralized database that contained links to other documents.

A technological protocol named hypertext created pages that resided on line. Berners-Lee designed the "web of information" to be used by everyone. It was made user friendly and diverse. It was designed so there was no access fee or accessing by permission to guarantee that universality!

Later in 1989 He launched the World Wide Web. A free uncensored public network finally existed that people worldwide could use to share information.

In the decades since it's inception the internet has shaped the way humans exchange information, commercial goods and their marketing, and global friendship. As it evolves the web stands still as a world access of information accessible to all!

Wealthy Affiliate would lose its virtuality and not exist without it It is something to be thankful for every day!
